It lasts two weeks! Huawei will launch Watch GT in the Indian Market
On March 4, Huawei has begun to release Watch GT, a new smart watch for the Indian market. The company posted a tweet on its Indian account saying, “Incredible battery life, which keeps pace with your activities.” A short WATCH GT preview video is attached.
Huawei WATCH GT carries Huawei’s self-developed LiteOS watch operating system. Watches adopt a dual-chip architecture. The two chips manage different sensors and components. The main chip handles power-consuming functions such as signals and GPS, while the coprocessor is specially designed for low-power tasks. This watch is more suitable for fitness enthusiasts, with GPS tracking, heart rate monitor, 50 meters waterproof, barometer, compass, altimeter, sleep tracker and other functions.
According to the video shared by Huawei, the main feature of this watch is battery life. Although most wearable devices last one or two days, Watch GT’s battery life is about two weeks, with heart rate monitoring enabled.
The watch can last for a minimum of 22 hours, and when the user turns on the power-saving mode with only heart rate monitoring and notification, the watch will have up to 30 days standby time. At present, the official did not disclose other details of Watch GT, but said it would be released soon.
